Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences is seeking a Clinical Placement and Enrollment Coordinator for ZCHS Graduate and Professional Studies Programs who will work within the college Dean’s office and collaborate with GPS to support admissions, enrollment and clinical placements for GPS programs in the College. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Coordinator will work in partnership with the MS Nursing Program Director and with community partners to assure all MS Nursing students are supported in their clinical education experiences. The Coordinator will also work in partnership with SSON and GPS to provide program support for the RN to BS program, especially related to the processing of applications, the establishment of transfer enrollment agreements with community colleges, and the establishment of tuition reimbursement programs with local health systems. This position will also support the application and enrollment process for the College’s MPH program, time permitting.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Provide Dean’s Office level coordination to secure clinical placements for MS Nursing students.
- Coordinate all clinical placements for SSON MS nursing students in collaboration with the MS Nursing Program Director and clinical partners.
- Communicate and consult with faculty regarding current and proposed clinical placements.
- Inform students of placement; provide preceptor contact information and answer all student questions related to placement.
- Work to identify new clinical placement opportunities
2. Work in tandem with the ZCHS Clinical Placement and Student Success Coordinator to maintain efficient and effective documentation and reporting processes associated with clinical placements in Nursing and other ZCHS programs.
- Maintain expertise regarding CDC and Massachusetts Department of Public Health requirements that pertain to students and faculty in clinical sites.
- Initiate and execute affiliation agreements/contracts with clinical sites, including renewals.
- Maintain records associated with MS Nursing clinical placements for students, faculty, and clinical sites.
- Facilitate the CORI process in ZCHS.
3. Provide admissions support for ZCHS programs that belong to Graduate and Professional Studies.
- Coordinate with the Program Director and GPS staff to assist with processing and reviewing applications for the MS Nursing program, the RN to BS program, and as time allows, the MPH program.
4. Support the development of affiliation and tuition reimbursement agreements for the RN to BS program.
- Draft transfer enrollment agreements with community colleges
- Identify health systems that have tuition reimbursement programs and begin initial communication to set up such programs.
5. Maintain effective communications with faculty and clinical affiliates.
- Communicate with potential and existing affiliating agencies and education coordinators to initiate clinical placements and preceptorships for students.
- Communicate with potential and existing affiliating agencies and education coordinators to initiate and maintain transfer enrollment and tuition reimbursement agreements.
6. Provide support to the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences by:
- Provide information for compilation of reports, surveys, and accreditation applications.
- Maintain records of clinical supervisors for the MS Nursing program. Provide tuition vouchers as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, education, health or a related field and 5-7 years of related experience.
- Will consider candidates with an Associate’s degree or equivalent education and 7-9 years of experience.
Additional Considerations:
- Master’s degree in a Health or other field desired.
- Experience in healthcare/licensed healthcare provider
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized.

This position is a full-time, benefited SEIU union position in grade P17. Anticipated salary based on the range minimum: $65,693, 25th quartile: $74,725 and midpoint of: $83,758.
