The Director of Development for Business plays a key role in advancing the philanthropic priorities of the Robert J. Manning School of Business and UMass Lowell. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Advancement Officer, the Director works in close partnership with the Senior Director of Development, Manning School of Business, and the Dean to build a coordinated and comprehensive fundraising program that strengthens the School's major and principal gift pipeline. The Director will manage a portfolio of 100+ prospects and donors, developing and executing customized strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward five-, six- and seven-figure philanthropic opportunities. In partnership with the Senior Director, the Director will participate in joint prospect strategy, donor engagement and relationship transitions designed to maximize philanthropic potential, ensure continuity of donor relationships and strengthen the Manning School's long-term principal gift pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing more than $1 million annually over time and will be expected to conduct at least 144 meaningful donor meetings per year.

The Communications Dispatcher II performs a variety of duties involving transmitting messages from the radio communications base station. Senior Development Coordinator (Promotional Opportunity) 530354 Development
The Senior Development Coordinator provides high-level executive and strategic administrative support to the Deputy Chief Advancement Officer (DCAO) and targeted administrative and coordination support to the Development team within University Advancement. Approximately 50% of the position is dedicated to supporting the DCAO in the leadership and management of the Development program, including team priorities and performance, campaign planning and execution, and management of the DCAO's major and principal gift portfolio. In this capacity, the Senior Development Coordinator serves as a key organizational partner to the DCAO, helping to anticipate needs, coordinate information, track priorities and commitments, and ensure timely preparation and follow-through. The remaining 50% provides administrative and donor-related support to members of the Development team and coordinates shared Development administrative activities. The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach three sections of Elementary Italian during the Spring 2027 semester. Depending on program needs, the assignment may include two sections of Elementary Italian and one Italian culture course taught in English. The appointment runs from January 10 through May 15, 2027. Courses meet on South Campus on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with each section meeting for three contact hours per week. The instructor will collaborate with the Italian program on shared syllabi, course materials, and assessments.
