University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching in middle and high schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum. Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train graduate candidates seeking teacher licensure in math, the sciences, history, and English. Candidates work collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools around the state.. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum. |

The Accounting Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Visiting Instructor to start in the 2026 Spring semester. This position will focus on teaching financial or managerial accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additional areas of teaching expertise are also welcome.
The Accounting Department is currently building faculty capacity to deepen its teaching pool and increase program offerings at both the undergraduate and graduate level. It offers a Baccalaureate degree, Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Accounting Analytics, Master of Business Administration – Accounting Option, and Ph.D. in Business Administration – Accounting Option.
In addition to traditional face-to-face course offerings, UMass Lowell has a large and growing set of online courses and programs. Online teaching experience is highly desirable. The standard teaching load for this job is eight courses (four per semester) per academic year.
