General Summary of Position:

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach a range of classes including Precalculus, Calculus and Statistics.  The appointment is scheduled to begin in September 2026 or January 2027.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicants must have earned an MA or MS degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline

Additional Considerations: (If applicable)

  • College-level teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
