General Summary of Position:

This part-time role supports the recruitment and admissions efforts of the Manning School of Business by providing admissions counseling, outreach, and event coordination for prospective graduate students, both internally (UMass Lowell undergraduate students) and externally.  Key responsibilities include personalized prospective student advising, on-campus engagement, and participation in recruitment events and marketing initiatives.

The position also maintains CRM records, supports data entry, and collaborates with admissions staff and faculty to ensure a smooth, student-centered admissions process.  Limited cross-training in academic advising to ensure transition from prospective student to student is handled smoothly.    Participation in orientation and community-building activities is expected.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Education:  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business/College Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration/ Counseling/ Psychology or related field PLUS

Experience: 2+ years of full-time (or equivalent) work experience.  Will consider candidates with Master’s degree in lieu of work experience.  

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Technical Skills:  Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
