General Summary of Position:

The Marketing support staff will be responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Promotion and Media within the Office of Student Affairs and Student Engagement. This role ensures the smooth operation of the vital components that fall under the marketing department.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience
  • Graphic design experience (portfolio required for hire)
  • Proven experience and proficiency in time management and multi-tasking
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proven experience working effectively with diverse groups
  • Social media experience
  • Experience using video editing software (final cut pro, adobe premiere, aftereffects)

Additional Considerations:

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced office and understand the need for confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community agencies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, whereas students and staff serve as the main client base
  • Ability to meet deadlines and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary division

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supervising student employees
  • Previous experience working in Higher Education or a related industry
