All members of the campus community must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain an approved exemption on medical or religious grounds. General Summary of Position:

The Psychology Department in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks applicants for an adjunct position teaching a regularly offered undergraduate course in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of the desired teaching area and commitment to engaged teaching. The University of Massachusetts Lowell is committed to increasing diversity in its faculty, staff, and student populations. 

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicants must have an M.A. in Psychology, or closely related disciplines by the start of the appointment to be considered
  • Ability to teach an undergraduate course in Sport and Exercise Psychology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology or closely-related discipline
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Professional work experience with individual athletes and teams
  • Prior experience with Blackboard or other LMS systems

This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
