The ideal candidates possess a record of nationally recognized research in Corporate Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals. In addition, they can demonstrate excellence in teaching and service within their academic community and profession. Preferred candidates will also have strong external engagement with academic associations such as the Academy of Management and the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability. The successful candidate will maintain a high-quality research agenda, mentor Ph.D., graduate, and undergraduate students, and collaborate with faculty. They will also develop courses on Corporate Sustainability and/or Corporate Social Responsibility at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, they will continue their external service to the profession.

Podcasting is an advanced production course in which students research, develop, record, edit, and publish original audio programs of increasing complexity. Building upon foundational skills in audio production, the course addresses podcast concept development, research, interviewing, scriptwriting, story structure, producing, location scouting, scheduling, field recording, voice-over, sound design, editing, mixing, and distribution.
Students may produce documentary, interview-based, narrative, journalistic, educational, promotional, or client-based podcasts. The course should introduce students to professional podcasting workflows, including media hosting, RSS feeds, podcast artwork, metadata, publishing platforms, audience development, and ethical and legal considerations.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on instruction, guide students through individual and collaborative productions, evaluate creative and technical work, and support an inclusive and professionally oriented learning environment.

This program sponsors a one-semester, open-rank, Visiting Professor of Portuguese Studies at UMass Lowell. The program is open to Portuguese Academics presently teaching at a university in Portugal or abroad.
The program contributes a Portuguese academic perspective to the curriculum of the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and, more specifically, supports the Portuguese Studies Program at UMass Lowell and the mission of the Saab Center for Portuguese Studies. The program further enhances the University's relationship with the regional Portuguese American community.
For Spring Semester 2027, we seek a Visiting professor in the academic areas of Criminology, Film Studies, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Portuguese American Studies, or Sociology/Anthropology. The Visiting Professor will teach up to two courses in English and deliver one or more public lectures in their area of expertise. The program provides a competitive one-semester salary stipend.
