The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching on-campus, face-to-face classes to undergraduate students.
Municipal Fellow (part-time/temporary) 528209 Sustainability
The Municipal Fellow will support a municipality within Massachusetts with energy transition projects as part of the Massachusetts Clean Energy and Environment Legacy Transition (CELT) Initiative. This opportunity is open to all students statewide, regardless of their college/university, location, or field of study. The role is central to supporting the state’s transition to geothermal and clean energy solutions, particularly within environmental justice communities, through partnerships with universities and municipalities.
Executive Director of Industry Engagement 528185 Office of Chancellor
The Executive Director of Industry Engagement will serve as a senior leader responsible for expanding UMass Lowell’s corporate partnerships and workforce development initiatives, with special attention to our STEM-focused partners, particularly in emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and clean energy. This role will help develop and oversee the university’s corporate engagement strategy, lead the matrixed team of staff across the university involved in corporate engagement, and strengthen strategic relationships across industries and state economic and workforce development offices to support university priorities in technological innovation, workforce development, research partnerships, and philanthropic investment aligned with national competitiveness and the future of work. The Executive Director will play a central role in advancing the region's economic ecosystem through robust corporate collaboration and workforce development initiatives. This includes creating industry-sector collaborations and coordination with state quasi’s such as MassTech, MassCEC, MLSC, MASS-TF, etc. In addition, the Executive Director will guide efforts to meet regional and national labor market demands—especially in advanced manufacturing, STEM fields, and onshoring—while fostering educational pathways for nontraditional learners, career changers, and individuals without a four-year degree. The position will champion UMass Lowell’s leadership in stackable microcredentials, certificate-based programs, and corporate training partnerships while leading efforts to secure grants and external funding that drive innovation and access for lifelong learners.
Deputy Athletic Director for Development 528139 Development
The Deputy Athletic Director for Development plays a key role in advancing the philanthropic mission of UMass Lowell Athletics. As a joint member of the University Advancement and Athletics teams, the Deputy AD will lead fundraising efforts for the university’s Division I athletic programs. This includes the cultivation and stewardship of donors capable of making major and leadership-level gifts to support athletic scholarships, facility enhancements, and programmatic excellence. Working closely with the Director of Athletics and Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations and Revenue Strategy and reporting jointly to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and the Director of Athletics, the Deputy AD will manage a portfolio of approximately 100+ prospects and donors, and will develop customized engagement strategies that align donor interests with the priorities of the athletic department. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing more than $1M annually over time and will be expected to conduct at least 144 meaningful donor meetings per year.

The Residence Life Administrative Coordinator (temporary/part-time) provides high-level administrative, HR, and financial support for the Office of Residence Life. This role manages personnel processes, office operations, purchasing, scheduling, and departmental communications. The coordinator serves as a primary liaison with campus partners, ensures smooth daily operations, and delivers excellent customer service to students, families, and staff.
