Research Project Manager-Physical Therapy (Internal Opportunity Only) in UMass Lowell
This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position. The Research Project Manager is a benefited .8 FTE position for one year with the possibility of renewal and dependent on grant funding. The project manager will support research activities that develop novel approaches to bridge the physical therapy clinical environment to the community. Specifically, the project coordinator will support an ongoing funded project developing an augmented reality functional assessment of older adults with knee osteoarthritis. The project coordinator will schedule and coordinate meetings and all meeting logistics with the research team, recruit and enroll in human subjects, develop clinical and experimental protocols with the research team, implement clinical and experimental assessments and tests, assist with summarizing results and support dissemination of research finding in presentation and papers, complete expense reports and requisitions, monitor grant expenditures, supervise research students, assure research ethical principles, and perform other duties with the research project.
