The Department seeks to hire an experienced, skilled individual who, in addition to regular duties, will work with the community and aging network to manage and direct the Management of Aging Services Masters and Certificate Programs. The person who fills this position will be a Fellow in the Gerontology Institute at UMass Boston and may also have an affiliation with the Center for Social and Demographic Research in Aging or LeadingAge LTSS Center, both located within the Gerontology Institute.

Liaison Librarian I-III in UMass Boston
Reporting to the AUL for Academic Engagement in Healey Library, and working closely with colleagues in ROI, the AUL for Collections and other library units, the Liaison Librarian provides in-depth library research and instructional support at the University of Massachusetts Boston. This full-time position will collaborate with colleagues in the library and across campus to instruct, engage and support the nearly 17,000 students, and 1,100 faculty in the full range of library resources and services, on and off campus. Healey Library is restarting and revitalizing its Liaison Librarian program, whereby each librarian in the unit will teach information literacy sessions and workshops in General Education, but each will also have subject specialty areas on which they will focus for other workshops, and will also contribute to Collections activities, such as communicating faculty suggestions to the Head of Collections, sharing in review and trials of databases, and related activities.
