University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking part-time program supervisors with interest and experience teaching elementary or special education in public schools to supervise teacher candidates in their practicum.
Program Supervisors observe, coach, and train undergraduate candidates seeking teacher licensure, working collaboratively with teacher preparation faculty on supervision protocols, and executing the state mandated Candidate Assessment of Performance (CAP). Supervisions typically occur 1-2 times per month on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., in schools located within an hour radius of Lowell, MA. Supervisors observe and meet regularly with teacher candidates during their practicum. |

The Department of Biomedical & Nutritional Sciences (BNS) in the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences (ZCHS) at University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML) welcomes applications for a Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year starting September 1, 2025. This role is a full-time visiting post with an anticipated 4-4 teaching load, which may be adjusted based on teaching and service needs in the department. The position is renewable at the end of the academic year based on positive evaluation of teaching and service. The selected candidate will become an integral part of the BNS Department, working in collaboration with full-time BNS faculty and staff. |
