| The UMass Lowell Susan and Alan Solomont School of Nursing seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member with an established program of research or solid research trajectory. Priority research areas include health promotion, the healthcare workforce, and historically excluded and underserved populations, but applicants with expertise in other areas are also encouraged to apply. Tenure-track faculty are expected to teach 4 courses per year, with reductions based on research productivity; generous teaching releases are standard for assistant professors in their first four years. All faculty in the School are expected to engage in service to the School, College, and University, commensurate with rank. We seek applicants recognized for scholarly productivity, ability to work with diverse populations, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate may be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, depending upon qualifications. |

| A postdoctoral position in medical device development is available at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. This position will involve the design, prototyping, and validation of novel wound healing technology. The project is sponsored by the Defense Health Agency through the US Combat Casualty Care Research Program and in collaboration with investigators at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on productivity and performance, as well as the availability of funding. Candidates with a strong background and hands-on experience in mechanical design, mechatronics, systems automation, and control are highly encouraged to apply. |
