The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for two full-time, non tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor to start on Sept 1, 2025. Primary responsibilities are to provide high quality teaching and service to the department. This position is renewable annually, potentially leading to an appointment as Associate Teaching Professor following six consecutive years of outstanding performance evaluations. UMass Lowell is located about 25 miles northwest of Boston in the high-tech corridor of Massachusetts. Responsibilities will consist primarily of teaching existing courses at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be involved in coordinating multisession classes, advising students, in outreach activities, our continuing efforts to improve the department's educational mission and other departmental service.
