| The Volunteer & Mentor Recruitment Coordinator (part-time/temporary) supports alumni engagement initiatives by recruiting, coordinating, and stewarding alumni and community volunteers for mentorship, networking, and university programs. A primary focus of this role is supporting the Braven Mentorship Program, in partnership with the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (FAHSS). This program connects alumni and professionals with students to strengthen career readiness, leadership development, and student success. The Coordinator also contributes to additional volunteer initiatives and alumni programs that build community, pride, and sustained engagement among UMass Lowell alumni. |

| The Evening Access Services Associate will contribute to the operation of UML Library and the Access Services department by participating in: building management (including closing procedures), student employee supervision, Interlibrary Loan, circulation desk functions, customer service, stacks maintenance, and other projects as assigned. Excellent communication is vital; supervisors expect nightly shift reports. This part-time position will be scheduled for up to 18 hours a week; preference given to evening (5 pm – 11 pm) availability. Occasional additional hours, especially during final exams or on select federal holidays, may also be required. |

The UML Career & Co-op Center's Undergraduate Professional Cooperative Education program combines classroom education with structured work experience. Launched in 2009 as a pilot in the Plastics Engineering Department, the program has grown to support nearly 400 students annually and is now scaling toward 1,000 undergraduate co-ops per year. This scaling effort advances Chancellor Chen's guarantee that every student will have access to at least one paid career experience before graduation.
Through a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education Innovation Hub, UML is scaling its co-op program while contributing to statewide work-based learning innovation.
The Cooperative Education Innovation Coordinator and Project Manager will lead strategic initiatives to expand UML's cooperative education program and coordinate partnerships across Massachusetts to strengthen the state's co-op ecosystem. The role requires expertise in work-based learning, stakeholder engagement, resource development, cross-institutional collaboration, and policy innovation to increase equitable access to career experiences. |
