The Office of Human Resources at the University of Massachusetts Lowell has an exciting opportunity for a temporary position as an HR/Payroll Assistant (temporary). The position ensures accurate and timely processing of the bi-weekly payroll, is responsible for maintaining employee and sponsored guest personnel action forms, (PAFs) electronic PAFs (ePAFs), and processing additional compensation payments. The representative will also respond to inquiries regarding employee HR/Payroll related questions and provide front desk coverage as needed.
Director of Capital Projects 524575 Project Management & Planning
The Director of Capital Projects has responsibility for coordinating and managing all capital projects on campus, including new construction, facility renovations and infrastructure upgrades through the use of both internal and external project managers and resources. The Director of Capital Projects is responsible for all daily operations for the Capital Projects department including, but not limited to, personnel management and developing and maintaining a comprehensive project controls program for quality assurance, budget control, consistent project delivery and operational continuity across the campus. This position is responsible for providing executive level support and supervision to all members of the Project Management team to ensure that all projects achieve their programmatic objectives, are delivered on time, within budget, and align with campus strategies and initiatives. This position provides support and assistance to the Executive Director, Planning Design & Construction as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department and efficient management of its Capital Project Program.
International Student Services Coordinator (multiple positions) (temporary-part-time) 524424 International Student&Scholars
The ISSO team is seeking a part-time International Student Services Coordinator. This role is vital to supporting the needs of the ISSO team through various administrative tasks, customer service, and student support. A strong desire to provide top-tier customer service is a must. The International Student Services Coordinator will offer support to academic departments and the ISSO by providing customer service, advising, prescreening, and programing planning and coordination related to all international students enrolled at UMass Lowell in nonimmigrant visa classifications. In order to perform the duties and tasks of this position, you will be required to receive training and be certified as a Designated School Official (DSO).
