The basic purpose of this work is to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
Postdoctoral Research Associate in Additive Manufacturing - Plastics Engineering (multiple positions) 525172 Plastics Engineering
The successful applicant will conduct experimental and analytical research in the areas of 4D/3D Printing of Shape Memory Polymers and/or Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites for Biomedical Applications (smart catheters) with an emphasis on design/implementation, experimentation, material selection and formulation, manufacturing, and characterization. Participate in meetings and write reports, scholarly articles, and proposals. This position is contingent upon funding. The initial appointment will be for one-year with a possibility of renewal based on productivity, performance and the availability of funding.
Executive Director of Alumni Relations 525163 Alumni & Donor Relations
The Executive Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for providing the strategic directive for alumni and donor engagement programs. The Executive Director provides leadership, direction, and implementation of the University’s alumni outreach. The position includes being the internal and external leader for alumni and future alumni cultivation and engagement. The Executive Director’s role includes strategic planning, budget oversight, integration of the university’s mission into overall planning, and implementation and evaluation of programs which build greater alumni interest and increase the engagement of alumni in shaping and supporting the University of Massachusetts Lowell. This person will strategize and manage alumni, donor, and campaign-based events. This position may carry a modest portfolio of alumni and friends to engage in fundraising initiatives.
OMA Coordinator 525070 Equity & Inclusion
The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) at University of Massachusetts Lowell serves as a central catalyst for intercultural advancement, diversity, community development, and inclusion. Dedicated to enhancing academic and student success, OMA employs holistic wrap-around services to address diverse student needs comprehensively. The office champions educational equity by providing robust support through educational programs, peer mentorship, and leadership training and plays a pivotal role in promoting student achievement and retention. The position provides the development and implementation of student success and support programs, enhancing access and retention for diverse student populations. Responsibilities include managing student caseload, success coaching, supporting research exposure and skills development through a STEM-based cohort. Additionally, the position collaborates closely with divisional partners, academic departments and various student services to implement a comprehensive educational program that equips students with a holistic support network, promoting wellbeing and fostering seamless pathways to degree attainment and overall undergraduate student success. The OMA Coordinator is a grant funded position (October 2024 to May 2026), with potential for continuation contingent on funding.
