General Summary of Position:
The Miner School of Computer & Information Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for: Adjunct Professors (who teach 1-2 courses per year) to teach in our online Information Technology degree programs (associate and bachelor programs) offered through the Division of Graduate, Online & Professional Studies. Courses are available at the undergraduate level.
Successful candidates will demonstrate passionate engagement in their own practice, research, and scholarly activities, as well as relevant teaching experience. The Miner School currently offers a diverse array of courses on topics including but not limited to: Networking, Principles of Information Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, and different programming languages.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Applicants must have an MS in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines to be considered.
- Ability to teach one or two of the following areas:

- information management
- integrated systems
- platform technologies
- system paradigms
- user experience design
- networking
- software development and management
- web and mobile systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in IT field is preferred
- Teaching experience in a college setting or online is preferred
