General Summary of Position:

The Salesforce Developer in the Office of Information Technology works closely with the Director of Enterprise Applications and collaboratively with the Enterprise Applications team to develop and administer Salesforce solutions for the entire UMass Lowell campus. The principal function of this job is to implement and support large scale, enterprise-class solutions on Salesforce and the associated ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related program
  • 2 to 3 years experience using Salesforce to support a department or enterprise function.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience either developing custom Salesforce applications/solutions OR integrating data into Salesforce
  • Lifelong learner with demonstrated ability to understand new technologies and apply knowledge to deliver software solutions that support business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I
  • Boomi Certifications
  • Other Integration or CRM Certifications
  • Experience using Salesforce partner products including Boomi, DemandTools, TargetX, ClickDeploy, FormAssembly, RIVA, RollupHelper, ConfigWorkbook, SMS Magic or ScheduleOnce.
  • Experience using or administering Salesforce Education Data Architecture (EDA) and Salesforce Student Success Hub (SSH) functionality.
