General Summary of Position:

The Digital Media program at UMass Lowell is seeking an adjunct faculty to instruct to teach a course in Producing for Film during the Spring of 2023 semester. A candidate must have a terminal degree or professional experience equivalent to a terminal degree with a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in teaching courses related to producing for film, television or other media. 

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicant must have earned a terminal degree or in the process of completing one in visual media arts, communications, filmmaking, media studies or another relevant field
  • One-year of college-level teaching experience
  • Demonstrated relevant scholarship/research/publication activity

 Additional Considerations: 

  • Evidence that the candidate has already taught courses in the relevant field

This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
