General Summary of Position:

Under the direction of the Manager of Business Operations & Special Events, assists in the overall development of the Professional Co-op Program and Career Services programming. Areas of responsibilities include database management, co-op coursework registration, communication, special event operations, and front office reception.

Responsibilities:  

Co-op Coursework Registration:

  • Register students into coursework for all co-op track programs
  • Generate a variety of activity reports to manage the current and past cohorts of co-op students 
  • Cross-reference data from multiple platforms (Salesforce, SiS, Handshake) to service students and keep information current
  • Work closely with registrar's for developing processes and procedures, and maintaining settings and details for co-op courses

Co-op and Career Services Special Programming:

  • Under the direction of the Manager, Business Operations & Special Events, assist in the logistical planning and hosting of career and co-op specific student, employer and faculty events, including workshops, career and co-op fairs and co-op employer information/recruiting and interview sessions

General Administration:

  • Assist, when necessary, in the management of the front desk area, including desk reception duties and making student appointments
  • Collaborate, as needed, with Recruiting Program Manager in delegation of tasks to student assistants

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
  • Seeking a professional, personable individual with strong communication and computer skills, including the ability to learn and manage databases. Must be extremely accurate, with attention to detail
  • Able to work collaboratively, exercise discretion, sound judgment and protect student confidentiality 
  • Experience with SIS, Salesforce, Handshake a plus
