General Summary of Position:

  • The Digital Media program at UMass Lowell is seeking an adjunct faculty to instruct a DMGD.2450 Social Media Management course during the Fall 2022 semester. A candidate should have or be pursuing a Master’s degree in the relevant field, or must at least have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of three years demonstrated relevant professional experience in graphic design, social media management, marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or a related area.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicant must have earned a Master’s degree or in the process of completing one in visual media arts, communications, marketing, media studies or another relevant field
  • One-year of college level teaching experience
  • Demonstrated relevant professional experience in communications, graphic design, social media management, marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or a related area

 Additional Considerations: 

  • Evidence that the candidate has already taught courses in the relevant field
