General Summary of Position:

Provides high quality customer service in a professional manner through technical support and coordination for all events on campus as assigned. The part time position is responsible for ensuring successful media and audio visual (A/V) and sound support for both internal and external clients.  The position supports in person events, hybrid events, and virtual events.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 6 months – 1 year of scheduling experience in scheduling software program required

*Will consider candidates with HS Diploma or GED and 3-5 years’ experience

  • Previous customer service experience required. Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication to interact with a broad range of university and external constituencies   
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite, and event software programs
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects, set priorities, and effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously with changing priorities
  • Ability to interface and work cooperatively across organizational departments
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a highly stressful environment

Additional Considerations:

  • Knowledge of classroom and meeting space technologies including LCD projectors and flat screens, connectivity adapters and computer output settings
  • Ability to configure and connect to desktop video conferencing portals
  • Valid Driver’s license required

Preferred Qualifications:
