General Summary of Position:

The Art and Design Department seeks applicants for part time adjuncts in any of the following scheduled Fall 2021 courses. The fall semester runs from September 1 to December 10.

Art Concepts II(a basic sculpture/3D design course) M/W 12:30 – 3:15pm

Form and Content(theory and materials integration with some installation, some audio & video) M/W 8-10:45am

There is a full-time lab manager with knowledge of all studio processes. Facility tour by video encouraged. All fall courses will be in person with a fully vaccinated student body.

The Art and Design Department emphasizes conceptual and aesthetic innovation while encouraging student-centered pedagogy. Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • MFA & 2 years teaching experience required
  • Portfolio that demonstrates success in creative and professional practice
  • Experience with a diverse student body

  • Excellent personal portfolio; Excellent student portfolio
