General Summary of Position:

This is an internal opportunity for current UML furloughed Employees only.

Provide administrative assistance to the Department Chairs, Associate Chairs and faculty to support the teaching research, service, orientations, graduation and outreach activities for the department. This includes maintaining the department office, establishing and maintaining files and records, directing work study students, and keeping office in good order. Some evening and weekend hours will be necessary for College’s Programs and Events.  

 Minimum Qualifications (Required):

 Education:  

  • HS diploma or GED/equivalent

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related work experience preferably in a higher Ed environment
  • Experience with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software
  • Experience with web page software and database systems
