University of Massachusetts, Lowell has an exciting opening for a full-time Counseling Clinician at Counseling Services (UMLCS), part of the UMass Lowell Wellness Center. We are seeking a dynamic licensed psychologist for this position to provide our pre-doctoral interns with quality clinical supervision as part of our thriving training program. Counseling Services strives to empower, support, and assist students in the pursuit of their academic, professional, and personal endeavors. Counseling Services clinicians work with undergraduate and graduate students to tackle challenges and remove barriers to growth, change, happiness, peace, or well-being. The Counseling Clinician will provide culturally affirming clinical services including triage assessments, intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, brief individual and couples counseling as well as group counseling. The clinician will assist students requiring long-term or specialized care in connecting with campus and off-campus resources as well as provide psychiatric referrals. The Counseling Clinician will design and lead advanced training seminars for staff and trainees.

The Assistant Director of Recreation Center Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Campus Recreation Center (CRC). Postdoctoral Research Associate - Experimental Nuclear Physics 525686 Physics and Applied Physics
The Nuclear Physics group at the University of Massachusetts Lowell has an immediate Postdoctoral opening to help exploit new opportunities in experimental research both at major national user facilities and at our on-campus Radiation Laboratory. The current research in the group is focused on fundamental nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics, as well as in detector R&D and applied nuclear science using emerging scintillators and segmented HPGe detectors. The Radiation Laboratory has a 1-MW research reactor and a 5.5-MV CN Van de Graaff accelerator. The university is situated in the historic city of Lowell, on the Merrimack River, a half-hour northwest of Boston.
