Director of Facilities - Daniel J. Riccio Jr. College of Engineering UMass Amherst
The Director of Facilities for the Daniel J. Riccio Jr. College of Engineering is responsible for daily functions related to project management and facility operations of the College’s building, including the Sustainable Engineering Laboratories (SEL) and for various facilities within the Riccio College of Engineering. The position will heavily rely on multi-faceted communications to coordinate resources, expertise and services efficiently and effectively to continuously support a complex research, teaching and outreach operation. The Director works closely with the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Planning and Operations with a dotted line to the Assistant Dean of Administration and Finance,  in developing, planning, designing and executing projects in partnership with the University’s various departments including Design and Construction Management, Physical Plant, Environmental Health and Safety, and Disability Services to insure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of approximately of all laboratory, office and classroom spaces on the Amherst campus.

The Director of Administration and Finance supports the overall management of the Daniel J. Riccio Jr. College of Engineering.  This position oversees business, fiscal operations for academic, research, and outreach activities in the Riccio College of Engineering’s Dean’s Office.  The Director provides leadership, training and direct supervision of departmental personnel and participates in department policy development and implementation.
Early College Academic Success Coach UMass Boston
The Academic Success Coach works with Early College students, potential and enrolled, using asset-based educational, cultural, and linguistic frameworks, to provide support to students from their initial transition to the program, through graduation. The Academic Success Coach will also provide support to Early College graduates who transition and enroll at UMass Boston, and will ensure high-quality, comprehensive advising sessions through educational approaches that promote equity, transformational practice, and academic literacy to guarantee the successful retention of the students served. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, working with a specific caseload of students to assist them in navigating academic and non-academic issues as well as connecting them to other appropriate resources and services on campus or at their high school. The Academic Success Coach will work closely with the Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships to develop holistic support and curriculum for participants and evaluate the success of the program towards the goal of continuous improvement.

Assistant Professor - Biology Education UMass Boston
The Department of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Boston seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor to pursue a teaching and research program focused on Biology Education and/or pedagogy in science. The faculty member will focus on teaching and/or leading instructional teams in our core first-year General Biology courses. The Kelliher lab at UMass Boston is seeking a postdoctoral colleague to join our community, recently awarded a 5-year MIRA grant from NIGMS (R35 GM157067) to study how circadian rhythms interact with nutrients in the environment and cellular metabolism. We utilize the fungal model system Neurospora as well as mammalian cell culture. We employ genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and bioinformatics to study mechanisms of circadian compensation, clock transcriptional networks, and cross-talk between the circadian oscillator and metabolism.

Driver - Mobile Health Unit (Part-Time, Temporary) UMass Lowell
The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences is seeking a part-time driver for the department’s Mobile Health Unit. Part-time Mobile Health Unit (MHU) drivers are temporary, non-benefited, and non-unit. Drivers will act as customer service representatives and drive the University’s MHU to area schools as part of an initiative to support health care efforts in these areas. Drivers do not need any experience with mobile health units and full training is provided.
