The successful applicant will conduct computational research in nuclear materials and advanced energy materials. The candidate will develop, train and test machine learning algorithms for performing materials simulations using methods such as dense neural networks, gaussian processes, and graph convolutional networks. Materials of interest include molten salts, which are used as a heat transfer fluid in advanced fission and fusion reactors, and doped ceramic materials for high-temperature electric-thermal energy storage. The candidate will help immediate supervisor in writing scholarly articles and proposals. Salary will be competitive and based on experience of the candidate.
The initial appointment will be for 1 year with a possibility of renewal based on the productivity and performance and the availability of funding. |

The successful applicant will conduct experimental and analytical research in the areas of 4D/3D Printing of Shape Memory Polymers and/or Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites for Biomedical Applications (smart catheters) with an emphasis on design/implementation, experimentation, material selection and formulation, manufacturing, and characterization. Participate in meetings and write reports, scholarly articles, and proposals.

The mission of the CCPH W.E.B. Du Bois Diversity Fellowship is to continue the multicultural training and clinical experience of the early career clinician who has successfully completed the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. This Fellowship offers continued supervised clinical experience to deepen and broaden the fellow's clinical skills which will allow them to leave the fellowship on route to the independent level of clinical practice and prepared to take on leadership roles.
