Postdoctoral Research Associate - Physics and Applied Physics UMass Lowell
The THz instrumentation lab at University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead the day-to-day operations of the lab's contributions to the NASA ASTHROS and TIM balloon observatories. Experience with balloon borne astronomical observatory software architecture, testing of THz receiver systems and components for both coherent and direct detector instruments are desired qualifications. In addition, the candidate will help the professor set up the new THz instrumentation lab, act as a mentor for undergraduate and graduate researchers working in the lab, serve as lab manager and assist the professor with the development of new project ideas and proposals.
