Assistant Professors (TT) - Biomedical Engineering - Multiple Positions UMass Amherst

Post Doctoral Research Associate - Renewable Energy Development UMass Amherst
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team leveraging socioeconomic data to address research questions related to renewable energy development impacts in underserved communities. This principally involves working with commercial fishing scientific data compilation, analysis, modeling, and visualization, and integration of local fishermen’s ecological knowledge, and available socioeconomics scientific data in the Northeast U.S. coastal fishing communities, but with possible opportunities to develop additional projects broadly on fisheries socioeconomic in other systems.
Transportation Services Coordinator UMass Amherst

Post Doctoral Research Associate - Climate Smart Agriculture UMass Amherst
The UMass Extension Agriculture Program is seeking applicants to fill a postdoctoral research associate position in Amherst, Massachusetts. Duties will be performed under a funded agreement with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) to develop a system to track the use of climate-smart agricultural practices in Massachusetts, including healthy soils management practices identified in the Massachusetts Healthy Soils Action Plan. The project also intends to advance understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and carbon sequestration occurring on Massachusetts croplands and managed grasslands, including assessing the greenhouse gas and other benefits of climate-smart agricultural practices.

Infrastructure Engineer (Hybrid Opportunity) UMass Amherst
The Infrastructure Engineer will assist with data management, provide administration and support of enterprise level network infrastructure management and monitoring tools, create and maintain documentation and continually improve procedures, and help troubleshoot and resolve network outages and performance issues.
