General Summary of Position:

UMass Lowell is committed to a Salesforce “Connected Campus” strategy.  It is one of IT’s top initiatives.  We seek a motivated professional to join our team.  We have an exciting technology portfolio including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledgebase, Live Agent, Communities, Social Studio, Informatica Cloud, DemandTools, TargetX, SMS Magic and ScheduleOnce. 

IT Enterprise Applications provides application leadership, system administration and development for Salesforce technology solutions serving the needs of the university.  The Associate Systems Analyst utilizes technical skills to support Salesforce operations and projects.  S/he works alongside a team of Project Managers and other Salesforce professionals to deliver high quality support for campus stakeholders.  This position requires solid Salesforce technical expertise and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and work collaboratively to improve our CRM technology solutions.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related program or ability to complete Bachelor’s degree within 6 months of hire
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • 2 years of related experience performing hands-on Salesforce administration duties in a higher education environment or comparable setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply knowledge to deliver software solutions that support business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks within deadlines
  • Experience performing Salesforce development duties such as complex automations; API integrations; Visualforce; Apex; Flows; etc.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Communities
  • Experience using Salesforce partner products including: TargetX, Informatica Cloud, Form Assembly, SMS Magic, Schedule Once and DemandTools
