General Summary of Position:

This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position.

The University of Massachusetts Lowell, Department of Marketing, Innovation & Entrepreneurship invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track lecturer position to start in the Spring of 2018.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach two online courses in Online and Continuing Education in Professional Communications and Marketing and one course in the Manning School of Business.  The position also includes service contributions to the Department and the University, including coordinating the professional communications courses.  The position is full time for a 9-month academic year including benefits, and is renewable.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • MBA
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in Marketing and professional communications
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student & faculty population
  • Candidate should have real world experience in Marketing, Sales & Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing, Buyer Behavior and an understanding of current workforce demands of employers
